James Carville: The Lone Democrat Strategist Who Realized Attacking Masculinity Is a Losing Strategy

James Carville is a man who will not hesitate to be brutally honest, even when it’s to his detriment. His left-wing compatriots aren’t always happy about this. On the subject he is being brutally honest about, the left would do well to listen because he is highlighting the lack of men in the party.

Carville has raised the alarm about men, particularly young men, leaving Democrats for several months. The left does not seem to care and doesn’t appear to listen. This attitude has cost them a lot of votes this election. Carville thought that using the language of the conservatives would be the best way to grab the attention of the left.

In Mach, he said to Maureen Dowd of the New York Times that there are “too preachy women” in the Democrat Party.

Carville stated, “I have a suspicion that there are too few women preaching.” “Don’t drink alcohol. Do not watch football. Don’t eat burgers. This is not healthy for you. The message is too female: Everything you do is destroying our planet and you have to eat peas.”

He continued: “If you listen closely to the Democratic elites – NPR is where I go to get that information – they are constantly talking about how women and women of color will decide this election.” “I was like, ‘Well 48 percent of people who vote are men.'” “Do you mind if the women have some consideration?”

Sara Sidner, a CNN anchorwoman, decided to confront Carville on air. She pointed out that women like Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton had made speeches, refusing to use the term “preachy”. Insinuating he meant them to be the preachy ones.

But I digress.

Carville fires back

Carville said, “I view my role in a way as a provocateur.” “We had a problem with men, we did. How do I go about it? How do I explain to Maureen Dowd, The New York Times, that the analysis of our regression group shows that there is not enough support from American men? That’s not something anyone will remember. If I say that our culture is full of preachy women, everyone will remember it. You can forget me. I don’t mind. “They can attack me as much as they want.”

Carville has raised the alarm about this issue for a while, as I mentioned. Carville noted in April that many young black and Latino male voters were moving away from the Democrat Party towards Republicans.

This anti-male issue is now weighing heavily on the Democrat Party. Both Joy Reid of MSNBC and CNN’s Dana Bash felt that it was necessary to bring up the elephant in the room during the DNC. Both women tried to portray the lack of masculinity in a positive light, promoting the notion that the Democrat Party version of masculinity was something to strive towards.

Carville’s research clearly shows that no one believes this.

According to what I wrote Thursday, the left has lost a large portion of male voters, particularly among young men, because of its constant rejection and demonization of men and masculinity. We shouldn’t think that the Democrats will learn anything from this folly. It will take a long time for the Democrat Party to overcome its anti-male bias if they ever decide to change course and stop alienating men voters.
